Solar lights turns on when it gets dark, and turns off automatically when the day is bright to charge. The solar garden lights operates in two modes, one that glows with a constant brightness when it gets dark and the other operates while controlling the brightness by a motion-sensor. When the motion-sensor is activated the brightness automatically dims when there is no person, and it is designed to brighten again when the person approaches at a distance of 8m within a 160º angle.
