Product Overview
The Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) system measures temperature by injecting laser pulses into a sensor cable, analyzing backscattered light to determine distance, and isolating temperature-dependent Raman scattered light using an optical filter. This light's intensity is measured and analyzed to determine temperature. A key advantage of DTS is its immunity to electromagnetic fields, which can cause errors in traditional electronic sensors. DTS systems provide stable and accurate temperature measurements in environments like power plants, industrial facilities, transmission lines, and marine structures with strong electromagnetic fields. Our system is designed for easy installation and operation. It also offers remote integration and control of multiple DTS units through an Ethernet network.
